We screen every nomination against the three questions below, in public. Being accepted for investigation is a human decision and is announced on the case page.

   Documentable harm

   Someone was hurt, and the harm can be shown from documents, not only from testimony.

2. 02

   Legal-shell shielding

   The people responsible are protected by a corporate or legal structure that keeps their names off the record.

3. 03

   Falsifiable

   There is a central claim that evidence could prove wrong. If nothing could, it is not a case.
