Goodrich does not just run Gaylor Electric; by the founder's own account he owns it. John C. Gaylor, who started the company in 1984, told the Hamilton County Reporter in December 2025: 'When I sold the company to Chuck, I knew he would not only preserve our legacy but elevate it to new heights.' WIBC, interviewing Goodrich in August 2026, introduced him as 'CEO and owner of Gaylor Electric.' The year of the sale and the size of his stake are not in either account.

Who read it
joe, both pages fetched and archived 2026-09-09, the quote string-matched in the saved file. A circulating version has Goodrich buying 49 percent and then the remaining 51 percent; no source we can find says that, and it is not carried. The ownership record itself is his Financial Disclosure Statement with the Inspector General, public on request; requested. ENR in 2019 had John Gaylor still chairman of the board.
