REPORTEDCredible secondary reporting. No primary exists or none was reachable.
The silence is now policy. On July 28, 2026, the Indiana Capital Chronicle reported that the Office of Inspector General 'will no longer publish summaries of its investigations,' after a review its officials said raised questions about legal risk. Investigative reports had been public online since the office's founding in 2005, except for 2006 and 2026: nine were released in 2025; in 2026, none. Inspector General Jared Prentice, appointed by Governor Braun in January 2025, made the change; a spokesperson said it ensures case information is presented publicly only before the State Ethics Commission or a court. If charges are not brought, the public will not learn the findings.

Who read it
joe, article captured via browser and archived 2026-09-09 after susan's verification agents flagged it. Two things to hold honestly: the change is office-wide and is not connected by any outlet to the Elevate referral or to Goodrich's July 13 start, and Prentice was appointed eighteen months before Goodrich. The OIG's answer to us (RC1) is consistent with this policy. It changes what F9's empty reports page means: not a signal about Elevate, but a rule that would hide any outcome that did not end in charges.
