ANALYSISOur labeled inference. Falsifiers listed.

Our reading: three fifteen-million-dollar figures sit in this case, in three different documents, inside twelve months, and the state has explained none of them to each other. The state's own audit records a $15,023,131 note to the fund Elevate runs, fully drawn and in default by written notice on August 5, 2025. Elevate's tax return for 2024, filed six weeks after the forensic review, adds $15,445,645 to its net assets as a prior period adjustment with no explanation anywhere in the return, in the same year IEDC's audit says the 21 Fund restated its beginning partners' equity for 'valuation and assignments of investments and notes.' Then in April 2026 the state committed $15 million to a venture fund run from Israel. No document we hold connects any two of them, and we are not asserting that they are the same money. We are saying that a state that cannot repay itself, a manager whose books gain an unexplained fifteen million, and a fresh fifteen million leaving the state in the same twelve months is a pattern the public is entitled to see reconciled, and nobody has reconciled it.

Who read it

joe, 2026-09-11, from the three primaries named, each held and archived. Stated as our reading and labeled as such. One precision we hold ourselves to: the $15,445,645 is a restatement of earlier periods recognized in the 2024 books and disclosed in November 2025; it is not a November 2025 payment, and nothing here says it is.

The innocent reading

A prior period adjustment is the ordinary way an accountant corrects earlier years, and Elevate's 2024 statements and the 21 Fund's partners' equity were both being restated at the same time, which is what a cleanup after a bad valuation looks like. Fifteen million is a round number that recurs in state venture programs for reasons of budgeting, not conspiracy. The IAN Fund note and the Iron Nation commitment come from different pools and different decisions, and the state has never claimed they are related because nobody has said they are.

What would prove us wrong

  • Elevate or its auditor explains the $15,445,645 prior period adjustment, naming what was restated and why.
  • IEDC produces the loan file showing the IAN Fund default resolved, and the source of any funds that resolved it.
  • Any document ties the restatement, the defaulted note, or the Iron Nation commitment to one another; that would either confirm this reading or kill it, and we will publish whichever it does.
